BOAT built in 1875

Built in Malmö, Sweden in 1875, “Moen” began
its long existence as a steam freighter intended for
transport of cement in Denmark. It will then be
successively transformed into a 3-masted sailboat, to serve
postal boat, then floating chapel on the sea
Baltic.
In 2001, it was bought and renamed “Mie Ebeltoft”
by Danish individuals who carry out, with him,
a world tour. This cargo ship, built entirely from riveted steel, is the oldest Round the World boat still in activity!

The current owners, after having traveled around Europe in search of the rare pearl and the favorite, will become in 2017 the happy owners of this cargo ship which will quickly take the new name of Zeboat.
To transport it from Denmark to France, it will take 15 days with 4 crew members on board including 1 mechanic. The owner will be happy to tell you about this trip experienced as a true human and nautical adventure! and it is as a family that the arrival will take place on April 30, 2017 in La Rochelle to the ovations of a crowd and friends who had followed the journey via Facebook.

This adventure leads to a great professional and family activity where the public can be welcomed on site, the large deck area allows many events: musical and festive evenings, the owner sets up her school there and a massage room in the old wheelhouse, the owner for his part can develop his activity as a professional in image photography and communication, they lived on site for 6 years and created an Airbnb activity in 2 independent cabins.
Some interesting figures:
- 5000 tourists welcomed in the 2 Airbnb cabins
- 3,000 clients for the Authentic Kobido massage
- 250 students from all over the world for the school
- 500 customers for Monsieur's activity (communication and photos)
- 800 people for events

Notice to water travel enthusiasts, artists, people dreaming of creating a tourist activity, events, seminars, small catering....a boat that only asks to continue its life at the dock or why not a new one world Tour!
